Event Information
COURSE DESCRIPTION: The race will be held entirely on the paved running trails within Mount Trashmore Park. The route will make one smaller loop around the Mount Trashmore hills and one long loop around the lake. The course will be flat and fast.
CATEGORIES: 5K Run, 5K Walk (No running in the walkers division), Formal Wear Division, Weight Divison, Kid's Mile

Formalwear Division: Compete in your formalwear from the night before and vie for overall male and female awards in this division. It looks best if you appear to have slept in them.
Weight Division: This is unlike the typical Athena/Clydesdale divisions. Report your weight below and your time will be calculated based on seconds per pound. Everyone at every weight has a chance to win in this division. Overall male and female winners in this category will be awarded prizes, and you will still be eligible for age group and overall awards.
Kid’s Mile: The kid’s mile will start at 11:00 and will consist of one loop around the lake. There will be special finisher awards for all kids completing the race.
Race day Packet Pick up/Registration & Chip Disbursement: Tuesday, January 1, 2008, 8:00am-9:45am. Located at the Mount Trashmore Clubhouse.
Parking: Parking is available in designated areas only around Mount Trashmore.
Registration: No processing fee online registration is available at www.active.com or you can download the Hair of the Dog 5k race flyer and mail it in the old-fashioned way!
5K Awards:
Top three Overall Male & Female in the 5K Run, 5K Walk, Formalwear Run, Weight Division, Middle of the pack Male & Female and Back of the pack Male & Female.
Top three Male & Female in each age group for the 5k Run 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and Over
